3/20/2006 Thanks to Joe for posting this information. The Hurricanes Bantam A1 Red team completed
their season this weekend by winning the North East Sectionals Championship. The Canes went undefeated in the tournament with a 5-0 record. They defeated the State Champs from Vermont, Connecticut, and New Hampshire in the tournament
before beating Massachusetts in the Semi final game to advance to the championship game to face an undefeated New York team. The Canes came out strong and never looked back to take the Title. The team had an amazing season in accomplishing Undefeated NJYHL League Champs, Regional Silver Stick Champs, AAHA District Champs and now North East Sectional Champions. Great Job by our Boys and coaching staff. This was a season we all will remember forever!!!!!!!! THANK

3/8/2006 Thanks to Joe for posting this information. The Hurricanes Bantam A1 team won the AAHA District Championship this past weekend. The Canes faught through very talented hockey clubs in The Quakers, NJ Colonials, and Lehigh Valley Comets. The four teams battled to the end and it was the Canes that finished on top and earned a trip to Bangor, Maine to compete in the Sectionals. The boys are playing spirited team hockey and refuse to let the season end. Congrats to the players and the coaches on an awesome job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2/28/2006 The Hollydell Hurricanes Midget Major A Team completed their 05-06 season over the past weekend by competing in the 18U-A Atlantic District Championships at Aston Ice Works. The Team entered the round robin tournament as the number 1 seed. The Hurricanes finished in 3rd place overall but was able to win the NJYHL State Championship in defeating the NJYHL Northern Division champion Ramapo Saints by a score of 4-3. The Hurricanes showed true heart by scoring 2 goals in the last two minutes of the game and captured a well deserved win. In the end, the team lost to the eventual district champion Bristol Blazers by a score of 4-2. Going in to the final game the Blazers were the DVHL #1 seed. The Blazers were also a +9 in the tournament in defeating the Ramapo Saints and Wilmington Typhoon by the scores of 6-1 and 5-1 respectively. The Hurricanes coaches and players should be proud of their performance in this final game. The Team had many highlights during the 2005 –2006 season including: Aston Ice Works Labor Day Tournament Champions, Philadelphia Regional Silver Sticks Champions, undefeated NJYHL South Champions (15-0-1) and NJYHL STATE CHAMPIONS!!! The Team was also ranked Nationally in the top 10 for all of the 2005-2006 season and had an amazing 26 game unbeaten streak, which included a spectacular 22 wins in a row! A special thanks to coach Aulffo, coach Furman, manager Mary Lou Maloney, and Sue Umstetter for your dedication. Congratulations to all on a very successful and fun season and the best of luck to all of the players.

2/8/2006 Thanks to Joyce for posting this information. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE HURRICANE PEE WEE B TEAM FOR MAKING IT TO THE NJYHL PLAYOFFS. THE TEAM FINISHED WITH A 16-3-3 RECORD AND THE COACHES AND PARENTS ARE VERY PROUD OF THE PLAYERS AND THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS THIS SEASON. PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT OUR TEAM, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH @ 4PM AT THE IGLOO IN MT LAUREL NJ FOR OUR 1ST PLAYOFF GAME.

2/1/2006 Thanks to Joe for posting this information. The Hurricanes Bantam A1 Red team represented our region well in The International Silver Stick Tournament in Port Huron, Michigan. The team only lost 1 game by the score of 3-2 to the team that won it all.We are very proud of our boys who are recognized as a team in the top 10 across both countries of the United States and Canada. This is a great accomplishment. Awesome Job Guys!!!!!!

12/5/2005 The Hollydell Hurricanes Midget Major A team has clinched first place in the Midget 18 A SOUTH division of the NJYHL. With 3 games remaining, the team’s league record stands at 13-0. The Hurricanes & Ramapo Saints (15-2-1) of the Midget 18 A NORTH division will represent the NJYHL in the Atlantic District Championship to be played at Ice Works in Aston PA on Feb 23rd to 26th 2006. 10/23/2005 The Hollydell Hurricanes Midget Major A Team has completed their first 22 games of the season. They have posted a record of 21-1-0 overall and 7-0 in the NJYHL. In Septemebr the team advanced to the Silver Sticks Nationals by going 5-0 in the tournament. The Silver Sticks Nationals are in Sarnia Ontario, Canada in January 2006. According to the National Youth Hockey rankings web site, the team is ranked #1. The players should be proud of their accomplishments so far. Next weekend will be a tough test with a visit from the NJYHL first place Red Bank Generals (8-1) on 10/29 8:15PM @ Hollydell. Come out and show your support for the Team!! 10/02/2005 Thanks to Joe for posting this information. The Hurricanes Bantam A1 Red advance to Silver Stick Nationals in Port Huron, Michigan. The team lost the first game in the tournament before winning 4 straight against strong competition, including beating The Old York Raiders AA team that only let up 4 goals in four games before they faced the Canes who put 5 in the back of their net to advance to the finals and earning their spot to go to Michigan.
